I support the design department at GLS Germany in modernizing their delivery experience across multiple touchpoints. Together, we focus on making the service smoother, more personal, and scalable across platforms.


Flexible Design System
At GLS, I was tasked with creating a universal design language to unify their digital products across platforms and teams. The challenge was to ensure consistency without limiting flexibility. I designed a modular system built on scalable foundations, reusable components, and adaptive layout patterns. It was adopted across GLS Germany and began rolling out to other EU teams, improving visual cohesion and speeding up design implementation.

I designed a modular system built on scalable foundations, reusable components, and adaptive layout patterns. It was adopted across GLS Germany and began rolling out to other EU teams, improving visual cohesion and speeding up design implementation.












Parcel pick-up
We first tested the new design system on the parcel pick-up flow, designing it from scratch as a clear and efficient mobile experience. The goal was to validate the system’s flexibility while solving a real user need. I created a clean step-by-step interface that guided users through selecting a location, date, and time with minimal friction. The result was a smooth, scalable flow that confirmed the system’s usability and improved the overall pickup process.
Parcel pick-up
We first tested the new design system on the parcel pick-up flow, designing it from scratch as a clear and efficient mobile experience. Illustrations
To make GLS’s interface more emotional and engaging, we developed a unique 3D illustration style as part of the new design system. The goal was to soften the tone of functional screens and bring more personality to the product. I worked closely with the internal team to define the style and create a set of friendly, cartoonish 3D visuals. These were used across onboarding, empty states, and confirmation screens, helping the product feel warmer and more human.

To support the launch of new Paketshops, we created a series of animated ads for HYGH digital billboards. This was an opportunity to test how the new design system could extend beyond product UI into brand communication. I designed motion-driven layouts based on our system’s visual principles — bold typography, color, and iconography — adapted for large public displays. The result was a consistent and attention-grabbing ad series that reinforced GLS’s updated visual identity in a new context.
HYGH

I redesigned the entire experience using the new design system to improve clarity, reduce cognitive load, and modernize the interface. By simplifying forms and aligning styles with the updated visual language, the new flow felt faster, more intuitive, and consistent with the broader product ecosystem.
